Do you offer dial-up internet access?
No, you will need local Internet access in order to maintain your web site and retrieve email addressed to your site. By focusing only on Web Hosting, we can serve you better because we do not have hundreds of modems to maintain, nor do we waste bandwidth by providing access. Our Silicon Graphics web servers are connected to the Internet via a DC-3 (45MB) the equivalent of 30 FULL T-1 lines to ensure a high level of performance.
Do you host adult sites?
No, we don't host any adult-related sites and never will.

How do I upgrade from one web site package to another?
You can upgrade your site automatically using the UPGRADE button in your Control Panel. Any unused fees will be applied to a larger package when you upgrade. Or simply email us to upgrade or downgrade your package.
Do you handle domain registration?
Yes. We will contact the domain registrar once we receive your completed order to request a new domain name registration. You do NOT need to submit a registration or modification template to the InterNIC on your own as this will only delay your request.
Can I transfer existing domain names?
Yes. When you place your order be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain. You should keep the service at the present site while waiting for InterNIC to complete the transfer. We will provide you with a real IP address so you can mirror the site on our server. All email and web pages will still be accessed from the current site. When InterNIC announces the completion of the transfer there is a 72 hour propagation period where visitors could go to either site. At the end of the 72 hours you should contact the previous host to have them delete the old domain from their records and update their DNS record. If you use this same provider for your Internet access you will not be able to access your domain site with Netfronts until they update their DNS.

How long does it take before my domain name is active?
Once the InterNIC announces that your domain name has been registered (or transferred, if applicable), it usually takes about 72-hours before it is active. All internet providers must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect new site locations. This is called propagation. Netfronts Web Hosting has no control over this.
What is the InterNIC fee for domain registration ?
The InterNIC charges $70 to register a new domain name. This fee covers the first two years. They currently bill at a rate of $35 per year. Netfronts can now perform the exact same registration for only $26 for two years. This is instead of the $70 InterNIC fee and thus saves you $44
The .cc and .to domains are $50 per year with a two year minimum ($100). They are handled by the Cocos Keeling Island registration services and the Tonga Island services respectively. They bill through e-mail invoice.
What type of domains can you host, such as .com, .to, .edu, etc.?
We can host any domain name including but not limited to:
- .com, .net., org
- .to., .nu.,
- .gov, .UK., .ch, .mx. etc.
How do I transfer files to my web site ?

Do you do search engine submission?
Our Control Panel has an automated tool to help you easily submit to the top 10 search engines. You can also submit your site directly to Yahoo, Excite and others by going to their sites and looking for their "ADD URL" or "ADD SITE" link.
To better your chances of a high placement, we also recommend a search engine placement company.
Will I have unlimited access to update my pages ?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. You can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure. You can also logon via Telnet and your Web Browser to manage and update your site.
Can multiple domains point to the same HTML files ?
Yes, we offer a "domain name only" service whereby additional domain names can point to an existing IP address. The charge is $25 for each additional "pointer." Standard Domain Registration fees apply also. See here to order.
Can I resell space within my own domain account?
To have different domains point to different web sites, you need to purchase a separate hosting package which cost $9.95/month. You can then sell this package at anywhere between $15-$30/month. More info HERE.
Do you accept international orders ?
Yes. We are pleased to have customers from 104 countries around the world and we're as close as your computer. If desired, we can host non-US domain name extensions. We will provide the necessary technical information but you will need to register the name yourself if it is outside of the U.S. InterNIC. Please let us know in advance if you want to use a non-US domain name.
Do you offer technical support to customers ?
Yes. Once an account becomes active, you will be given a technical support contact email plus have access to our support site.
How long does it take to set up a new account ?
As long as all your application is complete, we will have your account activated within 20 minutes. Once an account is set up, an activation notice will be sent you via email including an IP address and Instructions for using all the custom features. You can begin uploading files to your new web site immediately after receiving your IP address (temporary URL).
